Ideas for a model linked to clouds

For this task me and Lary worked together to create ideas for our model. In the end we decided to create a cloud hat.
To improve these designs we could have added more detail and colour to help further inform our final design.
Fashion designs to inform my FMP

These are the first ideas I have made for my Final Major Project. I have painted a cold, snowy background and I have drawn some fashion designs which relate to the cold weather. I used the moodboard I created to inspire this work: The two designs on the left were inspired by Andreas Kronthaler's cloud dress as I wanted to create some elegant designs which are also suited to the winter. For the designs on the right, I was inspired by the shape of Christopher Raeburn's 'React Now' series, and the shape of Inuit clothing I previously researched.
WWW: I have used colour and pattern in my designs in response to the theme Weather.
EBI: Think about the materials used for the outfits.
Ideas for practical work

These are two designs I drew as ideas for my practical work. I used the design I drew on the hat to inspire some of the collages I made.
WWW: I have drawn two ideas which link to cold weather and used the pattern to inspire later work.
EBI: Try to draw more of the ideas I have generated before developing them further to help me make them successfully.
Easter planning
Over the Easter holidays I will collect research. I will collect secondary research by researching more artists related to my project and comparing their work. I will also make some designs, including fashion designs and graphic designs using illustrator.
Reflecting on planning- Over Easter I created fashion designs digitally using my collages.
WWW- I created further practical work to support FMP.
EBI: I didn't conduct any further research which I planned to complete over the holidays.
Mood board

This is the mood board I made on Powerpoint to help me generate ideas for my final Major Project. I found multiple images including fashion designs, cold weather outfits and collages. I will use these to help develop my own practical work.
Planning practical work for FMP
For my Final Major Project I am making a collection of practical work linked to the theme weather, and more specifically cold weather and the circulatory condition- raynauds. this will help me create a story around my work and link it to my own personal condition and experiences with cold weather, as well as allowing me to use various materials and processes.
One of the ideas I had is to make mittens. I will use different scrap fabrics, which are better for the environment and reduce wastage, and basing the design on the collage patterns I have made previously. I will also cast my hands so for the college exhibition the mittens can be presented on casts of my hands, further linking my project to myself personally, and also showing the purpose of the mittens.
Using Autodesk Sketchbook (digital design app)
Draw designs and then attach my pattern to the clothing shapes
Digital fashion designs
Use different fabrics (focusing on recycling, up cycling and sustainability) to create a 3D textile piece, such as mittens, which links to cold weather and raynauds.
Materials and processes I plan to use
Lino prints
Collages
Make collages linked to cold weather using different coloured pieces of card
Make a 3D textile piece (mittens)
Fashion Photography- editing my pattern onto clothing
Using photoshop and different tools to edit my pattern realistically onto photos
Use collage patterns to create reduction Lino prints using different colours and printing on paper and fabric

Take photos in the photography studio of people wearing plan, light coloured clothing
How I plan to present my work

I used photoshop to design how I would like my work to be presented in the college exhibition. I will choose my favourite 2D pieces and have them framed on the wall, preferably with a white mount and a blue or different coloured frame. These pieces will be framed on a plain wall and in front of them will be a plinth which will have the casts of my hands and the mittens on.
